Music blockchain Audius integrates Solana NFT! Stimulus Taiwan dollar AUDIO jumped 140%
High-performance public chain Solana(SOL) has recently become the focus of the cryptocurrency market. Not only has the price of SOL soared more than 300% in the past 30 days, climbing to the 7th largest cryptocurrency by market value, but the NFT and DeFi markets on the chain are also booming. Audius, a decentralized music streaming platform, noticed. Audius is an emerging decentralized Music streaming service that offers an alternative to traditional Music streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music by storing Music on decentralized nodes and rewarding users for supporting this decentralized network. The Audius platform also allows users to display NFT like an online gallery.
Audiusannounced on Twitter on Sunday that it will support Solana NFT. Audius platform users can now display NFT collectibles on Solana on the platform by connecting to Phantom, a cryptocurrency wallet on Solana." Previously, the Audius platform only supported displaying NFT collectibles on Ethereum. Now, Audius users with a user rating above silver (who must hold at least 100 AUDIO tokens) will be able to display Solana NFT on the platform." According to Decrypt, Forrest Browning, Co-founder and Product Director of Audius, said, "As we continue to port all of Audius' capabilities to Solana, it is important to have deep, native integration with this large user base. For a project like Audius, where a great user experience is Paramount, the Phantom is, frankly, a lot better than the MetaMask. We're excited to see more NFT decide to launch on Solana, which I think will finally open the door to mainstream adoption for non-cryptocurrency natives."
rose 8.1 percent to $2.91 in the last 24 hours on the news, according to CoinGecko data. AUDIO has gained 169.6% over the past 30 days and is now valued at $1.158 billion, making it the 93rd largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
Audius has been busy lately. Audius announced a partnership with Tiktok on March 16, becoming one of the first partners for Tiktok's new SoundKit feature, which allows Audius creators to share their songs with Tiktok in one click. Currently, Audius has more than 100,000 musicians on the platform, and while the majority are independent and up-and-coming musicians, there are also some established musicians, Including Skrillex, Weezer, Deadmau5, Diplo, and Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda.
Audius is thriving. According to Dashboard.Audius.org, there are currently about 285 million AUDIO tokens pledged on the platform, with 6.17 million unique users this month, up from less than 2.9 million in January.
